TESTIMONIAL

"I found the business incubator very helpful. It gave me a step-by-step guide and a better idea of what is required to run your own small business. Jess helped me with my Vision and Mission statements, which before Business Incubator were hard to distinguish between.

Weekly topics and exercises pushed me to think outside the box and encouraged me to keep going in establishing my business. Our meetings and support from others doing the course were a great help as well."

Girls in Business

What is Girls in Business?

Girls in Business is perfect for community after-school youth groups, school holiday programs and as an extracurricular activity.

Our young “entrepreneurship program” for teen girls ages 15 to 24. This program gives them the opportunity to express their ideas and strengthen the skills they already have. They will be taken through 4 stages of creating and developing a business. We believe teen girls need a fun and inclusive environment condusive to learning.

In this program participants will:

  • Develop an entrepreneurial mindset as students learn to think strategically, discover new skills, and work through goal-oriented tasks

  • Join a community of like-minded girls in the local area

  • Build teamwork, learn problem resolution, produce a supportive and trusting environment and respect one another

  • Build confidence by improving skills and growing in self-awareness

The cost is dependent on the community needs and access to funding.

We are happy to support you through the grant submission process if funding is required.

TESTIMONIAL

"We don't only learn new things about running a business, but also learn the basic skills needed in life like communication, dealing with people, working in a team, and so on. We are a mini family, we share things, check on each other to make sure we are ok and have lots of fun together"
